Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Storts,63, of 1111 Camanche Avenue, Clinton, Iowa, former Hawarden resident who died February 3, after an hour's hospitalization, were held at 1:30 Tuesday of last week in the Immanuel Lutheran church at Clinton. Rev. Theodore Anderson officiated with burial in Clinton Memorial Park cemetery
Elma Ida Blankenhagen was born Octomber 29, 1898 in Vista, Minn., a daughter of Herman and Hannah Blankenhagen. She married Harry Storts on April 11, 1932 in Redwood Falls, Minn. They resided in Hawarden for many years when he was employed at the light plant. The past 20 years they resided in Clinton where she was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church.
Mrs. Storts was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters who died not long ago within fours days of each other, one having been killed in an automobile accident, the other from a heart attack.
Survivors include the widower,Harry; a son Roy of Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Leo Bellock of Algona; three brothers, William of Granite Falls, Minn., Herman of Milroy, Minn. and Alfred of Sanborn, Minn., and a grandson Larry Lee.
