MRS. MARGARET BARRY Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church in Rock Valley for Mrs. Margaret Barry, 88, who passed away Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Haas at Iowa Falls, after a long illness. Father Edward Hoffman officiated and burial was made in St. Mary's cemetery at Rock Valley Mrs. Barry was born December 21, 1869, at Des Moines. She later moved to this vicinity and resided on a farm northwest of Rock Valley for 68 years. She had been living at the Haas home in Iowa Falls for the past year and a half. Survivors include three other daughters: Mrs. Charles Schmitt Chicago, Marjorie Barry of Rock Valley and Ethyle Barry of Sioux Falls; three sons Paul and Claire of Rock Valley and William of Hoyt Lake, MN; a brother, Edward Hevern of Rock Valley; two half sisters; Mrs. Mary Murphy of Rock Valley and Mrs. T. J. Gunter Cara City, MN; a half brothe Joe Iangan of Aurora, S. D., as well as ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Source: Sioux Center News of 12-11-1958
