William Burnight,Chatsworth, Dies

Requiem mass was said at St. Mary's Catholic church at 9:30 Wednesday morning for William Burnight,75, of Chatsworth who died about 2:30 Monday morning after suffering a stroke. He had entered the hospital on November 24.

The rosary was recited at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at the Barnard Funeral home. Fr. Leander Friedman officiated at the services with interment at St. Mary's cemetery.

Pall bearers included William Halvorson, George Moehlmann, Albert Moehlmann, William McCarthy, Russell Westadt and Robert Johannson.

Mr. Burnight was born April 30, 1886, at Akron and spent his entire life in the Akron and Chatsworth vicinities. He was a member of St. Mary's parish in Hawarden. He never married. He was a carpenter by trade. Mr.Burnight was an uncle of Ted Burnight of Hawarden.

Other survivors include two brothers, Charles of Sioux City and Henry of Chatsworth and a sister Mrs. Liz Gibbons of Westfield.
