Martin Kraai
Orange City: Martin Kraai passed away Wednesday morning at his home, after suffering a blood-clot.
Rev. H. Coleubrander officiated at the services. Burial was made in the Orange City cemetery.
Mr. Kraai was born June 20, 1889, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Kraai of Orange City, and lived most of his life in the Orange City vicinity. He married Alice Vander Brake 44 years ago. After their marriage they lived near Sheldon for eight years and then moved to a farm west of Orange City. They retired from the farm 15 years ago and moved to Orange City.
Surviving, besides his widow, are two daughters, Myrtle (Mrs Albert Schuller) of Orange City, and Evelyn of Bellflower, Calif.; one son James, of Long Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren, Harley and Mark Schuller; and one brother, Jake Kraai of Sheldon.
Preceding in death were his parents and two sisters, Mary and Jennie.
