D. Brunsting, Dies of Leukemia
Danny, five-year-old son of Rev. and Mrs. Bernard Brunsting of Canoga Park, Calif., passed away Monday evening after a year's illness with leukemia.Funeral services were held at Canoga Park Thursday morning. The body will come to Omaha, Neb., by plane, and then on to Sioux Center for burial. Rev. Brunsting will accompany the remains.Private funeral services for the family will be held at the Vander Ploeg Funeral home at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, with Rev. Harry Brower officiating, and interment will be made in the local cemetery. Danny is survived by his parents and a brother, Albert, and three sisters, Bernice, Carol and Dorothy. Also by his grandmother, Mrs. L. A. Brunsting, of Sioux Center, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nixon of Harrisville, Penn. Mr. and Mrs. Nixon went to California by plane to attend the funeral and are staying with their daughter, Mrs. Brunsting, and the children, until Rev. Brunsting returns home.
