Mrs. R. Boer died Tuesday morning of cancer. The funeral services were held at the Reformed church Thursday afternoon.
(From www. genlias.nl marriage 4 Nov 1865 at De Wijk Drents, Netherlands Roelof Boer b. at Staphorst 32 years, married Hilligje Harens, born at Zuidwolde, age 29 years. His parents were Klaas Boer and Hilligje Knoll, her parents were Margje Jans Wever and Pieter Karel Harens. According to the obit of Roelof in the Alton Democrat of Sep 8, 1817 they had four children, Klaas of Java Dutch Indies, Mrs. Henry Van Laar, Peter, and John.)
