The infant Child of Mr. and Mrs. M. Winter died last Thursday, after a short illness with lung fever. The funeral took place last Saturday afternoon.
(This is believed to be a child of Martin Winter and wife Neeltje Van Wyk. They are listed in the 1885 Nassau tsp census as Martin age 54, Neeltje age 32, children were - Reintje 11, Johan 9, Jurrien 7, Neeltje 5, Egbert 3, Johanna 1. Martin was born 26 May 1830 or 1832 in the Neth. died 1907 Iola Clay Co. IL, Neeltje b. 1852 died 1916.)
