Frank E. Buck
Frank E. Buck died at his residence in Ireton Sunday morning. Nov. 15th, 1914 after an illness of more than a year, at the age of 40 years. 10 months and 9 days. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Monday, Rev. Mark Masters preaching the funeral sermon. There were many beautiful floral tributes. interment was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery beside his mother who died in Ireton Aug. 9, 1904. The deceased was born in Polo, Ogle county, Ill., Jan. 6, 1874, where he resided until he was four years of age when his parents moved to Belle Plaine, Iowa. He resided there until he was nine years old and then moved with his parents to Miller, S. D., where he lived for eleven years. At the age of 18 he came with his parents to Ireton and has since made his home here the greater part of the time. He was united in marriage to Miss Olive M. Black of Ireton March 11, 1903. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his death, his father, Abraham Buck, of Santa Rosa, Fla.; a brother, W. 0. Buck of Medicine Hat, Can.; and two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Thompson and Mrs. Bessie De Mots, both of Cascade, Mont.; besides many other relatives and friends. Among the relatives from a distance in attendance at the funeral were Mrs. H. J. Lenderink and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lenderink of Emerson, Neb.; Harley Black of Sioux Falls and Morrie Black of Humboldt, S. D.
