Star of God, one day old daughter of Jose Gutierrez and Magalidel Castaneda, of Orange City, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.

There will be a funeral service on Saturday, September 18, at 3:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. Pastor Roberto Vasquez will officiate. Interment will follow at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. Visitation will be after 9:00am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Star of God was born on September 15, 2010, in Sioux City.

Survivors include her parents, Jose Luis Gutierrez and Magali del Rosario Castaneda; seven brothers and sisters, Kimberly O Rellana, Nancy and Hilder Najarro, and Luiz F., Diana Mireya Adrian Josue, and Genesis Gaviota Guiterrez, all of Orange City; and grandparents, Ingracio and Maria Dolores Vasquez de Gutierrez, of El Savador, and Margarita Arana Castaneda, of Guatemala.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jairon Najarro.
