Marenus Bomgaars, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Bomgaars who live four miles south of Hull, died last week Monday [March 14] of typhoid fever, the funeral service being held Thursday at the Reformed church at Middleburg, Rev. Dowstra preaching the funeral sermon to one of the largest congregations ever assembled at that church. Deceased was a youth only 18 years old, was liked by all who knew him and had been a great help to his sorrowing parents, who have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

Marinus Bomgaars the eldest son of Nic Bomgaars died Monday afternoon of typhoid fever. He was bothered all winter with rheumatism and was getting better when he was taken sick with typhoid fever last Thursday.
