William Moerman, 61, of Sioux Center died Saturday, Aug. 22 of a heart attack.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. John Piersma officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

There was family visitation from 7 to 8:30 P.M., at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Moerman was born March 22, 1920, at Sioux Center and married Alice Van Wyhe on Jan. 31, 1946, at Ireton. He was a painting contractor, a veteran of World War II, a past commander of the Doornink-Brunsting Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.
