RANDY D. RENNER

Randall "Randy" Daryl Renner, 34, of Sibley died Wednesday, May 19, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Reformed Church in Sibley with the Rev. Gary Van Heukelom officiating. Burial was in Holman Township Cemetery.

Renner was born April 17, 1965, in Worthington, Minnesota, the son of Daryl and Sandy (Luft) Renner. He was raised on a farm near Sibley. He graduated from Sibley-Ocheyedan Community School in 1984 and Northwest Iowa Community College's auto body program in 1985. He was employed with D & H Motors in Sheldon as an auto body technician for five years.

He married LeAnn Schoep on April 23, 1994, in Carmel. The couple settled near Sibley. He was employed with Dave De Kok Siding and Windows in Archer as an installer and carpenter for two and a half years.

He enjoyed restoring his Trans Am, hunting, fishing and woodworking. He also participated in demolition derbies.

Survivors includ his wife; two sons, Christopher and Anthony; his parents of Sibley; two brothers, Rick and his wife Amy of Cedar Rapids and Ron of Sibley; grandmother, Zelda Luft of Vermillion, South Dakota; parents-in-law, Marvin and Arta Schoep of Sioux Center; two brothers-in-law, Marlin Schoep and his wife, Dawn, and Bernie Schoep, all of Sioux Center; and a nephew and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Margaret Renner; and grandfather, John Luft.
