Peter C. Anderson, 91, of Elk Point, S.D., died Wednesday, July 22, 1992, at Dakota hospital in Vermillion.

Services were Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran church in Elk Point with Rev. Leslie Hernes officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran church cemetery in Reading township, rural Ireton, under direction of Anderson funeral home in Elk Point.

Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 8, 1900, in St. James, Neb., son of Nels and Ella (Hoganson) Anderson. He married Alice Mandelkow July 21, 1948, in Sioux City. He was employed as a salesman for the Long and Hansen Commission Firm in Sioux City for a number of years. He later farmed in rural Jefferson, S.D., until 1988, when he retired and moved to Elk Point.

Mr. Anderson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Elk Point.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Warren, of Tempe, Ariz.; six grandchildren; a sister, Sadie Anderson of Minneapolis, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a
daughter, Maxine Ericson.
