John H. Schuller, 70, died Monday in a Sioux City Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Jan. 30, 1913, in Orange City, son of Hubert and Gertrude (Reinders) Schuller.
He was a lifelong resident of Orange City. He married Martha De Beer on Feb 9, 1939, at Orange City. He was custodian for the Maurice-Orange City school system for 23 years, retiring in 1978.
He was a member of the First Reformed Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Geri Gideon of Redlands, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Ardyce) Wassenaar of Orange City; three brothers, Albert Schuller, Hubert Schuller and William G. Nibbelink and three sisters. Ada Schuller, Mrs. Chris (Marie) Rowenhorst and Mrs. Henry (Dena) Haarsma, all of Orange City; six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Gerrit.
