Odilo Kass, 84, died in a Veterans Hospital in Chicago after a brief illness. He was a Marine Veteran of World War I.

Graveside services were held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Alton, August 5. He married Mina Sauer in Alton, Nov. 24, 1919.

Other survivors are two sons, Donald Kass, Sioux City and James Kass of Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Mary Ann) Tritz of Tucson, Arizona; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Oscar Henrich, Alton.
