From the Alton Democrat of Mar 11, 1893 Orange City News (Sioux County Herald of Orange City, also reported the same news in the Mar 8, 1983 issue, that he had died yesterday Mar 7.)
A. Leevering (Levering) died at his home in this city last Tuesday. The funeral took place from the First Reformed Church Wednesday. Death was occasioned by the bursting of a blood vessel.
(There is no cemtery listing for him, however he was most likely buried in the Orange City cemetery. This is believed to be Arie Levering, reported in the 1885 Orange City census as Arie Levering b. abt 1826 Neth, his wife Freytje? (Tryntje) born about 1820 Neth. born about 1826/27 at Ridderkerk, ZH, Neth. www.genlias.nl found marriages of Arie Levering first one to Hendrika Van Oorschot on June 7, 1867 at Ridderkerk, second marriage as widower to Trijntje Roos on Jun 26, 1873 at Barendrecht ZH Neth, Arie was 46 and she was 54 reportedly. Arie's parents were Arie Levering and Jaapje Dekker.)
