Logan James Maassen, infant son of Jim and Renita Maassen of Sioux Center died Saturday, April 3, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center.

Logan was born April 2 at the Sioux Center hospital. His father works in construction and his mother is a nurse at the hospital.

Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Raymond and Joan Maassen of Rock Valley and C. J. and Esther Schelling of Hull; great-grandparents, Arie and Goldie Colenbrander and John Schelling, all of Sioux Center; 12 aunts and 11 uncles, Ron and Joyce Maassen and Pamela and Rebekah Schelling, all of Hull, Marlin Maassen, Jim and Sharla Boon and John and Judy Maassen, all of Rock Valley, Tom and Paula Maassen and Terry and Tami Van Beck, all of Inwood, Dave and Lisa Maassen and Tim and Carrie Maassen, all of Hudson, South Dakota, Paul and Shelley Maassen of Canton, South Dakota, and Dean and Mary Maassen of Valley Springs, South Dakota; and 35 cousins.
