Mrs. William De Groot, nee Grace Kamminga, passed away Thursday evening at her home. She had reached the age of 61 years, 8 months and 10 days. Mrs. De Groot was born at Whitenville, Mass., and came to this area when only two years of age.
She was united in marriage on March 1, 1923, and to this union were born four daughters; Priscilla (Mrs. Barney Broek) of Sioux Center, Anna ( Mrs. Dick De Weerd) of Rock Valley, Harriet ( Mrs. Arthur Hulstein) of Maurice and Audrey (Mrs. Marvin Fedders) of Orange City.
She is survived by her husband, four daughters, 11 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Fred De Vries of Pease, MN.,and Mrs. Louis Westra of Sheldon. Her parents, one brother, Garret, and one grand-child preceded her.
