DEATH OF ARCHIE LYNN

Archie Lynn, Jr., died Monday, February 25, at the home of his parents near Marcus, Iowa, after an illness covering several years. He was born at Brainerd, Wis., August 20, 1884, and came with his parents to Eagle township, this county, when a small boy and resided here until their removal to Plymouth county about three years ago. He had many friends here who join with the Independent in extending condolence to the bereaved relatives. The remains were brought to Hawarden yesterday and were interred in the Catholic cemetery. Besides his parents, those who came to attend the funeral were Mr.and Mrs. J. L. McManaman, and J. H. McManaman of Washta; Miss Agnes Lynn of Marcus; Mrs. Kate Hanley of Boise City, Idaho; John Haverhill and Luke Murray.
