Jacob Shutter died last Friday morning at the home of his son two miles west of [Hull]. Deceased was quite aged and leaves a host of friends in this community to mourn his death. The funeral services were held from the residence on Saturday.

Grandpa Shutter died at the home of his son Sam Friday evening. The old gentleman was nearly ninety years of age and had been failing for some time. He will be greatly missed by his children and many friends for his cheerful disposition and Christian character have endeared him to all.
