In regard to the death in Wabasha county, Minnesota, of Peter Puetz, a brother-in-law of Paul Kenkels, which we mentioned last week, the Wabasha County Herald says: "Peter Puetz was born in Bruch, Luxenburg, on February 27, 1826. In 1856 with his father's family, he emigrated to America settling first in Wisconsin and later in Dubuque county, Iowa, coming to this county in 1863, and settling on section 19, Watopa, where, for so many years, he made his home. In 1861 Peter Puetz was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Henkels. To them six children, Peter, Margaret, Mathias, Angeline, John and Mary, were born. He was one of the most progressive and prosperous farmers in Watopa, and was the owner of about 300 acres of choice farm land with good buildings and all the equipment to make farming a success."
