Leo Meis, the 16 months old child of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meis, died Tuesday evening, of cholera infantum, after a short illness. The funeral sevices were held at St. Mary's catholic church, Thursday morning and were largely attended. The sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing family.
(this is believed to be a child of Fred W. Meis and Mary Tauk living in Plymouth County. In the So. Co. Death Records there is a Geo/Leo. Meis died Oct 4, 1892 at one year and 5 months. No parents are mentioned. In the 1885 census is the family of Fred Meis living in America Tsp. Plymouth County. Anyone with more particulars on this child please contact our page coordinator.)
