Word was received here of the death of Mrs. John Luchtenburg, 70, of Leota, Minn., on Sunday, January 8. She was the former Sadie Van Peursem of Orange City.

Survivors are her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Shirley) Zimmer of Clara City, Minn., and Mrs. John (Helen) Kreun of Williamsburg, Ia.; 2 sons, Paul Luchtenburg and Rodney Luchtenburg, these with their families. Surviving also 2 brothers, Marion and Henry Van Peursem of Orange City, 2 sisters, Mrs. John (Wilmina) Draayer and Mrs. Myron (Pearl) Oolman, all of Orange City. Funeral was held on Wednesday morning in the Reformed Church of Leota, Minn., and burial was at Leota.
