A son of matt Probst died Wednesday of diphtheria.
(From the Sioux County Cemetery Index, Peter Probst was born 18 May 1882 died 20 Jul 1892 buried at St. Mary's Alton. Parents Mary and Mathias Probst, however the mother's first name was also Kathryn. In the St. Mary's church book there is a family history of the Mathias Probst's large family. The mother was Kathryn Ingaz. Mathias died Oct 1915 and Kathryn died 1945.)
