She married Frederick Hillman of Ireton in August of 1898. To this union three children were born. Her husband preceded her in death 18 years ago. After his death she made her home with her son, Fritz Hillman, but for the past 12 years she lived in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mike Krusen, who resided in the Ireton vicinity until two years ago when the family moved to Hornick.

Survivors are three children, Walter of Seoul, Korea, Fritz of Ireton and Sophie, Mrs. Mike Krusen of Hornick, Iowa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
