Abe Lucker died Sunday morning [March 6] at 11:30 o'clock at his home on the north side following a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered at 6 o'clock that morning. The body was taken to St. Paul Monday for burial. The deceased came to Hawarden last spring from Tracy, Minn., with his wife and two children, and since that time until his death had been employed by the C. & N. W. Railway Company in the roundhouse. Besides his wife and two children, he is survived by two brothers, both of St. Paul, Minn. The sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing wife, children and brothers in their great sorrow.
