Johanna Lammers, 86, of Sioux Center died Monday, August 12, in the Sioux Center Nursing Wing.

Services were at 2 P.M., Wednesday, August 14, at the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated and burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family visitation was from 7:30-8:30 P.M., Tuesday, August 13, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lammers, the former Johanna Westra, was born Feb. 27, 1899, in Maurice. She attended rural school in Center Township.

She married Henry D. Lammers on Nov. 19, 1917, in Maurice, and the couple made their home on a farm southwest of Sioux Center. Mr. Lammers died May 9, 1964.

Survivors include two sons, Dick of Maurice and Stan of Sioux Center; four daughters, Hermina Richmond and Mrs. Milo (Hendrene) Kalsbeck, both of Sioux Center, Mrs. Harry (Nelvina) Moulder of Maurice and Mrs. Elmer (Elizabeth) Van Wyk of George; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Pearl) Vander Weide of Orange City; 15 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
