Funeral services were held at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden at 3 P.M., December 31 for Mrs. Clarence Larson, 87, of Hawarden, who died at the Hawarden hospital December 30.

The Rev. Herbert Young officiated and burial was in the Hopkinton Cemetery at Hopkinton, Iowa.

Mrs. Larson, the former Nelle Montgomery, was born June 12, 1886, at Coggen, Ia. She married Arthur Slager, December 25, 1911. He died February 1, 1950. She was married to Mr. Larson Sept. 10, 1957, and was a member of the Associated Church.

Survivors include the widower: a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Rachel) Brubaker of Dallas, Tex.; a son, William Slager, of Mercer Island, Wash.; two grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Donald (Marlys) Schmidt of Hawarden; and two step-children.
