Ada Droog, 94, of Hull died Wednesday at the Hegg Memorial Hospital, Rock Valley.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Monday, June 16, at First Reformed Church in Hull. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Droog, named Adrianna at birth, was born April 14, 1903, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the daughter of Peter and Antje Ruysenaars. She immigrated to the United States with her mother in 1905. They settled in Hull. She married John Droog on May 3, 1921, in South Sioux City. The couple owned and operated the Perkins Corner Truck Stop. In 1953 they moved into the Lincoln Hotel in Hull, which she managed. He died June 7, 1959. She retired in 1980.

She was a member of First Reformed Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and numerous other clubs and organizations.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Chester and Jacqueline of Seal Beach, California; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Droog of La Crosse, Wisconsin; a sister, Gertrude Reimers of Boyden; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials are being directed to Hope Haven.
