Isa J. Majaj, 61, of Amman, Jordan, died Monday, June 6, 1988 at Amman following a long illness.

Services were 2:30 P.M., Sunday, June 12, 1988 at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden with the Rev. Clark Carnahan officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Andreas Alexandrou, Seleh Majaj, Robert Poe, Gene Burns, Peter Schaefers and Clarence Bockelman.

Mr. Majaj was born July 17, 1926 in Jerusalem. He attended school in Jerusalem and came to the United States in 1950 and graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City in 1955. He married Jean Caroline Stoltenberg October 26, 1955 in Hawarden. After their marriage they lived in Sioux City for two years and then moved to Long Beach, CA., for five years before moving to Amman. Mrs. Majaj died March 22, 1986 in the University of Michigan Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Abla Jean Majaj of Washington D.C., and Mrs. Andres (Lisa Ann) Alexandrou of Worcester, MA, and a brother, Elias of Amman.
