Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 21, for Edward Peuse, 63, of Orange City, who died at the Orange City hospital Friday after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Raymond Van Heukelom and the Rev. Perry Raak and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mr. Peuse was born at Maurice August 16, 1911. He married Cynthia Van Peursem October 8, 1940, at Orange City and they had resided in the Orange City area since that date.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Duane of Holstein and Evan of Orange City; two daughters, Miss Lynn of Walsenberg, Colo., and Miss Sharon of Orange City; three brothers, William and Henry of Orange City and John of South Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Minnie) Bras of Alton, Mrs. Ben (Jennie) Van Roekel, Mrs. Alvin (Katie) Van Berkum and Miss Mattie Peuse, all of Orange City and two grandchildren.
