Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:30 A.M., July 19 for Ike Van Klompenburg, 82, of Orange City, who died at the Orange City hospital July 17 after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Raymond Van Heukelem and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mr. Van Klompenburg was born April 16, 1893, in Orange City. He married Agnes Hoekstra February 4, 1915, in Orange City.

Mr. & Mrs. Van Klompenburg farmed in Sioux County until 1950 when they moved to Maurice. In 1955 they moved to Orange City.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, John of Montevideo, Minn., and James of Sioux City; four brothers, Gerrit, Henry, William and Dick, and a sister, Miss Rena Van Klompenburg, all of Orange City; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
