Funeral services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ireton at 1:30 P.M., February 25 for Mrs. John Siebels, 88, of Ireton, who died February 22 at the Hawarden Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Rev. A. W. Anacker and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Siebels, the former Agatha Baaks, was born March 16, 1886, in Pewsum, Germany.

She came to the U.S. with her parents as an infant, and the family settled on a farm near Ireton, where she resided until she was married to John Siebels February 23, 1932.

The couple lived on a farm near Wentworth, S.D. After her husband died June 20, 1940, she moved back to Ireton.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. George (Viola) Abraham of Wentworth and Mrs. Cal (Leona) Hiles of St. Louis, Mo., a step-son, John, of Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Etta Johnson, of Hawarden.
