Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Alton at 10:30 A.M., June 14 for Evert Roelfson, 81, of Alton, who died June 11 in the Heritage House at Orange City.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Clarence Greving and burial was in Nassau Township Cemetery at Alton.

Mr. Roelfson was born November 10, 1893, at Alton. He married Anne Kool May 21, 1926, at Alton. She died November 20, 1968. They farmed in the Alton area before retiring. Mr. Roelfson had resided in the Heritage House for the last five years. He was a World War I veteran.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Irene) Bunz of Stillwater, Minn., Mrs. William (Joan) Vande Brake and Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Hansen, both of Orange City, and Mrs. Wm. (Evelyn) Oldenkamp of Cottage Grove, Minn.; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Kamstra, of Hospers.
