Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Sheldon at 1:30 P.M., March 3 for Henry Riemersma, Sr., 78, of Sheldon, who died February 28 at the Sheldon hospital.

Services were conducted by the Rev. H. A. Harmeling and burial was in East Lawn Cemetery at Sheldon.

Mr. Riermersma was born October 26, 1896, in Newkirk. He married Marie Ver Mulm January 15, 1917, in Hospers.

Mrs. Riemersma passed away December 22, 1970.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Marie) Buren of Sanborn; four sons, Henry Jr., and Donald, both of Sheldon, Cornie of George and Arthur of Sioux Center; a sister, Mrs. John T. Smit, of Hull; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
