Final Rites Held For Mrs. Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence Johnson, 52, were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Baptist church with Rev. Ronald W. Dalzell officiating. Music was provided by Rev. and Mrs. Dalzell, accompanied by Mrs. Pete Sinkey at the organ.

Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral home. Casket bearers were Larry Abbey, Kenneth Andriessen, Terry Peters, Randy Rich, Larry Peters and Danny Peters.

Rose Peters was born February 26, 1915 near Akron, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peters. She married Clarence Johnson on March 4, 1931 at Elk Point. They lived in the Hawarden vicinity most of their lives. Mr. Johnson died in 1958.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Schwiesow of Hawarden; two sons, Michael of Hawarden and Jerry of Santa Clara, Calif.; a brother, Delbert Peters of Hawarden; five sisters, Mrs. Lowell Goodrich, Mrs. Iva Chriswisser, Mrs. Woodrow Peters and Miss Ellen Peters, all of Hawarden, and Mrs. Lillian Russo of Sunnyvale, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
