Leendert Vos Dies At Age 91

Mr. and Mrs. Arie Vos returned Friday evening from Artesia, Calif., where they attended the funeral of Mr. Vos's father, Leendert Vos, who died March 6 at the age of 91. Mr. Vos was a resident of the Christian Home for the Aged at Artesia.

Mr. Vos was born in The Netherlands on November 19, 1875 and came to the United States in 1919. He farmed for many years in the Hawarden vicinity and moved to California in 1936. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son.

Survivors include five sons, Arie Vos of Hawarden, Joe Vos of Sioux Falls, Pete Vos of Sioux Center, Lane Vos of Artesia, Calif., and Steve Vos of Lakewood, Calif., two daughters, Mrs. George Kooi of Sioux Center and Mrs. Bert Frings of Ontario, Calif.; 32 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren.
