Ted F. Miller Succumbs Sunday

Funeral services for Ted F. Miller, 66, who died Sunday, were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Barnard-Dow Funeral home with Dr. G. S. Bruland officiating. Soloist for the services was Mrs. Ralph Gregg, Jr., with Mrs. Hal Shoemaker as organist. Casket bearers were Sherman Stages, William Staggs, Joe Koob, Lee Keehn, Robert Koob and L. R. Frescoln. Interment was in Grace Hill cemetery.

Mr. Miller was born October 17, 1900 at Hawarden, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Miller. He married Florence Brandow of Omaha on August 18, 1927.

For a number of years the Millers operated a greenhouse and florist shop and the Dari Creme drive-in in the east part of town and more recently the Miller Flower shop in downtown Hawarden.

Mr. Miller was a member of the Methodist church, the Eagles Lodge, the Society of American Florists, the Society of Iowa Florists and Florafax.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Roger of Sheboygan, Wis., and Bruce of Hastings, Neb.; one daughter, Mrs. Michael Reiners of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Mabel M, Richter of Hawarden; one brother, John C. Miller of Volga, S. D., and seven grandchildren.
