Funeral services were held at the Christian Reformed Church at Ireton at 1:30 P.M., October 4 for Marion Vellinga, 56, of Ireton, who died at a Sioux Falls hospital October 1.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Rubingh and burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton.

Mr. Vellinga was born June 19, 1918, at Crookston, Minn. He married Christina Kneubel June 3, 1941, at Ireton. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Mark Douglas, and a daughter, Miss Diana Lynn Vellinga, both of Sioux City; two brothers, Joe of Tillamook, Oregon; and Lawrence of Sioux Falls, and two sisters, Mrs. Marietta Vande Hoof of Eagle, Nebr., and Mrs. Ann Vande Berg of Wilmont, Minn.
