SAMUEL KLEINWOLTERINK
Samuel Kleinwolterink, 93, of Sheldon died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1992 at Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon.Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon. The Rev. Jay Wesselink officiated. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon.Mr. Kleinwolterjnk was born June 28,1899 at Hospers, the son of Gerritand Johanna (TeGrotenhuis) Kleinwolterink. He graduated from Northwestern Academy at Orange City. He married Jeannette Lubbers Sept. 8, 1928. She died June 9, 1956. He married Anna Krull Feb. 14, 1962 in Sioux City. They farmed in the Sheldon and Hull area until 1967 when they retired to Sheldon.Mr. Kleinwolterink was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roger and his wife Carol of Sheldon, and Carl and his wife Jeanette of Hull; a stepson and his wife, Leland and Jeanne Krull of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Dena Roetman of Sheldon; seven grandchildren, Dianne Moore, Janet Brink, Donna McClellan, Paul and Todd Kleinwolterink, Kristen and Nicole Krull; 10 great-grandchildren, Angela, Amanda and Aubree Moore; Jamee, Shantele and Lindsey Brink; Jacob Roger McClellan; and Megan, Samuel Cody and Joel Carl Kleinwolterink.He was also preceded in death by seven brothers.
