Harry Sorgdrager
funeral held May 6, 1972

Mr. Harry Sorgdrager, age
73, passed away at Happy
Siesta Nursing home in Remsen
on May 4 after a lingering
illness. He was born August
18, 1889; his parents
were the late Mr, and Mrs.
Case Sorgdrager. He was a
life long resident of Alton
and an employee of the railroad
for many years.
Funeral services were held
at the Van Etten Funeral Home
on May 6 with Rev. John
Maze officiating. Burial was
at Nassau Cemetery.
Survivors are three brothers
and one sister, Casey
Sorgdrager of Sioux Falls,
Robert Sorgdrager and Edward
Sorgdrager and Mrs.
Peter Kelzer and nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers were Lewis
Keizer of Sioux City, Marshall
Rees of Le Mars, Norman
Kurtner, Gerrit Van Wyk,
Wm. Frerichs and Robert
Sorgdrager.
