Nelva Faye was the daughter of Gerrit and Tina (Houtsma) Dolieslager. She was raised at Orange City.
On July 25, 1974, she married John Van Ravenswaay at Boca Raton, Florida, where they made their home. She was a member of the Boca Raton Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, John of Boca Raton; son, Larry Roos and his wife, Jane, of
Richmond, Virginia; daughter, Glenda and her husband, Steve McHale, of Brunsville; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Donna and Chet Berry and Sandra and Mike Haggard, both of
Kissinimiee, Florida; eight grandchildren; mother, Tina Dolieslager, of Orange City; brother, Darrell Dolieslager, of Orange City; and two sisters, Joan Bruxvoort and Nancy Van Zee, both of Orange City.
