Mrs. Jennie Luiken, who resided at 212 PIymouth St. S.W. in Le Mars passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital on June 21, 1956. Jennie VanderBerg was born January 3, 1874 in the Netherlands. She was married to Lewis Luikens, a rural mail carrier on February 14, 1898 in Le Mars. They were lifelong members of LeMars.
Funeral services will be held Sunday June 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Luken's funeral home with Rev. J.D. Ransom officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery under direction of Luken's.
Survivors include her two daughters. Mrs. Henry (Florence) Gellerman of LeMars and Mrs. I. W. Rupp of Marshall, Minnestota. One son, Charles of Redwood Falls, Minnesota and a brother, Jacob VanderBerg of Stockton, Indiana.
Four grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive
