After graduating from Western Christian, he joined the Army and was stationed in Okinawa. While there he met his "doll" Marjorie Dietz. They married on Aug. 21, 1959, in Haward, WI. They moved to Hospers and then to Sioux City. They had 4 children: Cathy, Steve, Brenda, and Ken.
Frank owned Canteen Service in Sioux City with his father. He then worked as a salesman for Molstad Distributing. Upon the sale of Molstad's to Wintronics, he was made company president. He retired in 2001.
Frank had a strong faith that he shared with everyone he met. He was a leader in the First Christian Ref Church in Sioux City and a prayer warrior in the planting of a new church, Friendship Community in Sergeant Bluff.
His many interests included travel, camping, coin collecting and reading. He had a special love for children and a passionate love for his grandchildren.
