Hawarden - Mrs. James A. Dillon, 71, of Hawarden, died Saturday, July 1, at a Hawarden nursing home.

Services were at 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 5, at the Dow Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. A prayer service was held at 7:30 P.M., Tuesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Dillon, the former Marie Muth, was born Oct. 19, 1906, in Plymouth County. She was married Aug. 28, 1942, in Sioux City. The couple lived in Sioux City until moving to Oregon in 1947. Her husband died April 5, 1966. She returned to Sioux City and moved to Hawarden in 1975.

Survivors include a brother, John, of Sioux City, and a foster son, Michael Dillon of San Diego, Calif.
