Sheldon - Mrs. Dick Uittenbogaard, 88, Sheldon, died Thursday evening, June 29, in a Sheldon hospital of a long illness.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Saturday in the First Christian Reformed Church at Sheldon. The Rev. B. J. Haan officiated. Burial was in Roseland Cemetery at Sanborn under direction of the Andringa Funeral Home of Sheldon.

Mrs. Uittenbogaard, the former Maude Kros, was born August 25, 1889, in Chicago, and she attended schools in Chicago. She was married Feb. 23, 1910, at Sheldon.

Mrs. Uittenbogaard was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include five sons, Arthur of Chicago, Martin and Marvin, both of Sheldon, Dick of Holland, Minn., and Ed of Sanborn; a daughter, Mrs. Mina DeVries of Trenton, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. John (Jen) Vander Mey of Chicago and Mrs. Rube (Marie) Jinkinson of Long Beach, Calif.; 28 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
