Hawarden - Mrs. Carl Busch, 65, died Wednesday, July 12, in a Minneapolis hospital of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Friday, July 14, in Trinity Lutheran Church at Hawarden. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. There was a prayer service Wednesday in the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Busch, the former Helen Heuer, was born Sept. 8, 1912, at Hawarden. She was married to Mr. Busch May 24, 1931, at Hawarden. They farmed in the Ireton area, and moved to Hawarden in 1970. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Darlo of Ireton and Merlyn of Hawarden; a daughter, Mrs. Fay (Iona) Anderson of LeMars; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. George (Donnie) Wood and Mrs. James (Vera) Squier, both of Hawarden, and three brothers, Ted and Art Heuer of Hawarden and Wilbut Heuer of Ireton.
