Alton - Frank Pick, 83, of Alton died Sunday, July 9, at the Orange City Municipal hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services were at 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 12, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alton, with the Rev. Anthony Pick and the Rev. Mervin Hood officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery under direction of the Fisch Funeral Home, Remsen.

Mr. Pack was born Dec. 16, 1894, in Remsen. He lived and farmed in the Alton area most of his life.

He was a stationary steam engineer at Briar Cliff College, Sioux City, for 10 years and resided at Happy Fiesta Retirment Home, Remsen, since January.

Survivors include four brothers, the Rev. Henry of Remsen, Lawrence of Alton, Sylvester of LeMars and Dr. Elmer of Remsen, and four sisters, Mrs. Anton (Anna) Pottebaum of Alton and Sister Bertilda, Sister Marinus and Sister Lea, all of Dubuque.
