Sioux Center - Mrs. Edward Te Veltrup, 81, died Thursday, July 20 at a hospital here.

Services were at 9:30 A.M., Saturday in the Central Reformed Church. The Rev. Wesley Kiel officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, with the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Te Veltrup, the former Norine Kester, was born April 23, 1897 at Grinnell. She taught school at the Sioux Center public school.

She was married Jan. 27, 1923, at Sioux Falls. She served on the board of the Sioux Center Community Library for many years after retiring from teaching.

Survivors include the widower.
