Sanborn - Meinert Brower, 73, died Thursday, Aug. 3, at the Prairie View Retirement Home of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Saturday in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Geral Osland officiated. Burial was in Roseland Cemetery under the direction of the Sanborn Funeral Home.

Mr. Brower was born April 24, 1905 in The Netherlands. He came to the Orange City area at age 18. He married Sadie Fenstra Jan. 26, 1928. The couple lived in the Melvin and Sanborn area.

They moved to Sanborn in 1969. Mrs. Brower died Sept. 29, 1969. He was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth of Sanborn and Roger of Sioux City; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
